Class 165 Hybrid Conversion

In collaboration with Angel Trains, Magtec is delivering
the UK’s first electrically driven hybrid DMU. Our custom
solution features: 

  • A high-performance 400kW traction motor and
    600VDC rail-compliant controller

    for ease of service and scalability
  • Automatic generator shutdown near stations for
    ultra-ow noise and emissions in built-up areas
