Magtec a market-leading electric chassis and re-powering company based in Rotherham, engaged ETRUX to provide the three new Mercedes Sprinter service vans which have been configured to provide Magtec technicians with easy access to tools and equipment, ample storage and payload to transport battery packs as well as providing comfort for drivers and passengers when travelling the length and the breadth of the UK. Kitted out by ETRUX’s in-house conversion team, the vehicles have been supplied with a bespoke ‘Sortimo’ racking solution, auxiliary power options and Chapter 8 chevrons and lights.

“We were already working with ETRUX on a number of exciting projects and were delighted when their rental team were able to source and convert three new service vans within a short period of time,”

comments Jim Erskine, Head of Commercial at Magtec.

“In the current climate where the lead times on new vans are crazy, ETRUX really pulled out the stops for us in order to coordinate the delivery of the new vans with the opening of our new state of the art, 65,000 sqft factory. The entire process from the initial consultation on vehicle specification and conversion to the handover by Steve today has been simple and very straight forward and we look forward to growing our partnership with ETRUX in the coming months”.
